I’m a professional opera singer and vocal pedagogue dedicated to preserving and transmitting the Melocchi Method, a vocal tradition associated with some of the most prominent operatic voices of the 20th century.
My teaching follows a direct pedagogical lineage originating with Arturo Melocchi, transmitted through Marcello and Mario del Monaco, and continued through their students, with whom I studied in Italy.
Today, my work is primarily devoted to teaching the Melocchi Method to singers who wish to study this distinctive Italian tradition in depth.

How Lessons Work
Our personalized singing lessons are designed to develop your voice through a structured two-phase approach:
Technical Refinement
The technical work follows the principles and exercises of the Melocchi tradition, with attention to laryngeal position, pharyngeal space, vowel formation, registration and continuity throughout the range. Exercises and technical priorities are adapted to the individual voice.
Artistic Development
Once the technical foundation has been established and consolidated, lessons progress to the study of operatic and classical repertoire, with a focus on style, diction, phrasing and interpretation. This phase builds on the technical work, allowing the singer to apply the principles of the Melocchi Method to the artistic demands of performance.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual voice and its specific technical requirements.
Online Lesson Setup
For optimal results, we recommend using a laptop to ensure superior audio quality. Lessons are conducted via Zoom.
Start with a Vocal Consultation
The initial consultation combines discussion with practical vocal work. You will have the opportunity to sing, explore selected exercises from the Melocchi tradition, and experience my approach to vocal technique firsthand.
We will discuss your current technical challenges and goals, and consider how the method's principles may be applied to your individual voice.
I work with a limited number of singers to maintain technical precision and individual attention. As a result, availability may be limited, and there may be a short waiting period for new consultations.
